IN THE DISTRICT COURT OF CRAWFORD COUNTY, KANSAS In the Matter of the Adoption of: Kendall Lynn Jefferson, a minor child Case No. CRG-2024-AD-000002 AMENDED NOTICE OF HEARING STATE OF KANSAS TO JONATHAN JEFFERSON: A petition for stepparent adoption and motion for termination of parental rights pursuant to K.S.A. 59-2136 and motion to declare to Kansas to be home state has been filed by Brandon Randall requesting to adopt the minor child, Kendall Lynn Jefferson. The Court may find that the parental rights of the natural father should be terminated and the minor child should be adopted by the Petitioner and grant any and all other relief sought by the Petitioner in the Amended Petition for Adoption and Motion for Termination of Parental Rights Pursuant to K.S.A. 59-2136 and Motion to Declare Kansas to be Home State. The natural mother has previously waived notice of this hearing and has and consented to the adoption of the minor child by the Petitioner and stepfather, Brandon Randall. An attorney has been appointed for the natural father, Jonathan Jefferson. The natural father has the right to appear before the Court and be heard personally.
